I really like getting to know clients and them getting to know me! I want you to feel completely comfortable as is it can be weird to have a camera infront of your face! I like to be flexible around what people like and poses that reflect people's personalities!

A bit about my story...
I love taking photos, like really love them. A friend took incredible ones at our wedding and suddenly I was hooked! I love the gift of pictures and the emotions they can invoke.
I believe everyone should have a set of great affordable photos, at some point in their life, to put on their wall and mantle piece.
From the creative planning, helping people feel comfortable in the moment and the technical side of photography- I am energised! I find it a fun mesh of joy and creative expression.

A number of years ago I was ill with many days I could not sit up or even watch tv never mind venture out in the world. On good days I would try and take some photos. As I got stronger, and had a lot of great therapy (really recommend EMDR: toughest thing I ever did but the most difference!) I managed to start taking even more and haven’t stopped!
My great friends, patient husband, cuddly dog and my faith really got me through to a stage: in 2020 I launched my website and am loving every second of it!

I now how 2 super young boys and a number of weddings under my belt and wouldn't change a thing!

My Style
I am a creative, fun and relaxed photographer. I pride myself in being the calmest on the day. I aim to be respectful and subtle but will make sure you get the photographs that are the most important to you.

I am mainly a documentary photographer (documents the day as they see it- naturally and authentically) but will pose or give very light creative direction to get the most out of your pictures. My favourite is to give "prompts" which give natural photos in action. For family shoots I have games we can play whereas commercial can be more posed or me in the background.

For the camera geeks: I shoot on two mirrorless Cannon R's with a variety of lenses- mainly primes (24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm) and heavy zooms (10-20mm and 70mm-200m). I use flashes when needed (and for fun shutter drag shots) but prefer to be a natural light photographer as much as possible. I like to wear my cameras on a hardness for easy access and to look cool.
